I had similar problem locating. I found it on my 1996 LX DT 406. Follow the main water hose from the top of the radiator until it meets the engine. There are two sensors just upstraem of the maniold and one dowmstream on my model. I just disconnected each one until the fans kicked in. It was the RH one upstream of the manifold on mine - but it may be different on a 2.1.
Note that these sensors are not switches but thermistors that feedback actual temperature to the central computer.
If its a Diesel, its probably the Diesel Stop switch. Located on the Diesel Fuel Pump.
there's no switch, it has a temperature sensor.
A thermoswitch is the device by the radiator, that switches on the fan as soon as the engine/ radiator reaches a set temperature
The engine temperature cooling switch helps regulate the engine's temperature. Teemed with the radiator and incoming air, this keeps the engine at its optimal performance temperature.
Please edit your question to be more specific. Which temperature switch? Radiator fans? Air conditioning? Other?
the coolant temperature switch
check the blower fuse, temperature sensor on the radiator, switch on the dashboard and the blower relay switch.
where is the fuel cutoff switch on the 2014-peugeot 207
check the interior switch for where.
The overheat light is controlled by a thermal switch mounted on the engine block next to the standard sensor. These are above the thermostat housing where the radiator top hose comes out. Most likely the switch is faulty, although it could be a wiring fault. Unplug it and see if the light goes off (if you unplug the wrong one the temp gauge will stop working, so you will see which one it is very quickly.) If the light goes out, test the resistance of the switch. If not, check the wiring.
It regulates the temperature of the water in the radiator and tells the fan when to switch on to start cooling or to switch off if its too cool. Engines have an optimum running temperature, and the Thermostat helps keep it at that.
Ummmm, Radiator fans run off a temperature switch. Sometimes they put the fan switch and sender for the gauge together so I suppose it could be related. Have you checked to see if the wires are unplugged? Just a thought.
