With the rear liftgate open, look down to the right for a rubber cover - that's the washer solvent reservoir for the back window.

The 2001 Villager washer fluid level sensor is inside of the washer fluid reservoir. The sensor can be access through the bottom of the washer fluid reservoir.

The owners manual shows that the washer fluid for the liftgate is supplied by the reservoir for the windshield
Assuming that your 2001 is the same as my 2000, the pump is atached at the bottom of the fluid reservoir. It does not need to be primed. --Ken
