What relay? There are more than one. am looking for the ac relay location on a 1997 Mitsubishi galant
ac blower not working .
The ac compressor may be seized or about to seize up.
Under Dash by Gas Pedal.
Freeon is leaking, or the condenser isn't cooling, so the system shuts down.
If I'm reading the Mitsubishi 2004 Endeavor repair service manual correctly, it is in the drivers fuse panel and has the markings OMRON, MR515993, 12 vdc, 24z200. I found the blower relay at rockauto.com. Their part number was 1r1645. It is a module (black, rectangular with 4 prongs), not a fuse. I should have added this is the location of the "relay". I guess it's the same as a resistor. *** This the location of the RELAY. It is NOT the resistor.
HIGH SIDE....YOUR VALVUE TO PUT IN FRE. SHOULD BE DONE ON THE LOW SIDE
You need more than a diagram. You'll need a manifold gauge set, and the know-how to determine what the numbers on the gauges are indicating is wrong with your AC system.
this relay switch is located behind the glovebox. You have to remove the entire glovebox to get to it
under hood in engine compartment check under dash also
I do know that there is a rubber nipple on the firewall that you have to find to unclog. I am guessing that it is close to where you see the a/c tubes enter the firewall
Yes you can. Mine had broken off, and I have been driving for months without it. It was winter, so I did not mind. Now that warmer weather is coming, I will have it fixed.
