It is in the relay and fuse box under the hood on the passenger side by the firewall. The box is black, and about 4-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches. Pry the hook on the cover to allow removal of the cover. The fuel pump relay is labelled "F/P" on the index on the underside of the cover. Orient the cover so that the rectangles for the fuses and relays are in the same orientation, in order to positively find the F/P relay..

The fuel pump relay is under the hood on the passenger side wheel well.

Bad relay? Loose connection?
I just changed the fuel pump relay on my 1992 Chevy Caprice. I found it on the driver's side fender well bracket. There were two relays mounted on the bracket, the one closest to the engine was the fuel pump relay. It was square, made by Bosch. Also I found out that you can go to your local Chevy service department. They will show you on a computer screen where to find parts like this.
