Change the pre=heat (glow plug) relay.
Had the same problem with my transit, turned out to be fuel starvation due to blocked fuel filter.
the relay is behind and above the battery, you will see two heavy wires - one red and one orange coming out of it.
behind the kick panel drivers side should be yellow dan
no not if its a d.i
i have a 53 plate kangoo van and the relay is next to the battery .. hope this helps peter.... There is also a relay that controls the low plugs, in the engine bay electrics box. Its the one that's about half the size of the others.
Hi, It's inside the van located inside the fuse box. It's relay number 102 if memory serves me right. (Its the biggest relay in there, the long one)
where is the gearbox filler plug for 2001 citreon relay 2.8 tdi
In a warm climate it should. In a cold climate, a gentle shot of starting fluid should get it started. To much starting fluid can cause serious damage so be careful! If the glow plugs are working starting fluid can ruin them.
no not if its the 2.5lt di ( direct injection) if your van will not start on cold mornings try a boster battrey
The speedometer may cut off and they engine may splutter due to the Glow Plug Relay. It could also be the water temperature sensor.
Black goes to earth and red to starter relay
