the horn does not have a relay on your car, does have a fuse inside the car, d.s dash
does anyone know where the horn relay switch is on a 86 chevy S10?
The 1999 Chevy Astro horn relay switch can be found on the back of the horn. The relay switch will be attached to the horn with two retaining screws.
Have your Chevy dealers parts department print out a picture of the parts location for you. They will do this if you ask.
the relay or fuse is under the dash board in the drivers side. you will need a flash light but it should be marked on the fuse box. on some of the cavaliers it is not the relay but the positive connection to the horn it self could be coroding. use sandpaper and reconnect.
it is on the drivers side just under the dash right behind the fuse box.
It's a relay, not a fuse, and it should be under the dash on the driver's side.
where is the hornrelayona2004chevroletcavilier
Hey Marvin==It is probably the relay which is among the relays under the hood. Check it out. GoodluckJoe
A relay is a device that uses a small control current to switch a larger current. So the horn button (small current) turns on the relay which in turn energizes the horn (heavy current device).
the relay is located up under the dash on the passanger side if you take the peice of trim held on by star head screws and look pretty far up twords the back you will see the little white box
dependsummmm well it depends on which relay we are talking about where is the relay switch panel on the 1996 s-10 pickup located i need to replace the relay switch my horn son't blow when the engine is running but will blow when the engine is off it will blow strange i was told it neede to have a relay switch i have the switch but don't know where to install it any help? ThanksWhere did you get the switch? what relay did they tell you to replace? The horn relay is located in the relay center located in the glove compartment. The horn relay would be the second one from the left, the fist one being the fuel pump relay.
Need to clarify what you are asking. The Horn Relay is inside the relay/fuse box behind the battery. The Horn Switch is located in the air bag in front of the steering wheel. You must replace the air bag module to replace the Horn Switch. The Horn switch grounds the relay which then powers the horns.
