Why dont your dash lights work on your 1995 Ford Taurus?

Please check the fuse first. If the fuse is good then the rheostat switch is the next component to test. The rheostat is the dimmer switch you use to control the brightness of the dash lights. It will probably be part of the headlight switch. Best of luck.

Does the heater on 1995 Renault Espace have a rheostat I have been told that it may be one of the reasons why the heater blower motor will not work If so where is it there's no ref to it in any manual?

hi, the phase two espace,1990-1996 has a rheostat in the heater box, which is uover the top of the engine inside the engine bay.it is removed ria the engine bay and i am told is one heck of a job to get out(approx 3hrs work) mainly because its so fiddely.i need to replace mine but as yet have not done this job.the rhoestat is conveiently located inside the heater box so it must be removed and split into its two halves.oh and there are two types of rheostat and the only way to know which type you need is to remove it first!(cheers renault!)
