Can be in several locations. My first guess would be on the part of the frame that the crank axle goes through, but it might also be on the part of the frame that top of the front fork goes through. as a last guess I'd look at the tube what holds the seat post.
It should be on the metal frame
under the gas tank
You can find the serial number for your bike on the frame of your bike. It is located on the right side between your handlebars and your forks or it will be on the top of your motor on the right side just before your right crankcase or your kickstart.
The Schwinn bike serial number H19577 was made in 1951.
were are serial numbers on old phillps bike located

Yes/No/Maybe. There's no solid connection between the length of the serial number and the quality of the bike.
Hello. A klein serial number can be easyest read as this. Ok i have a Klein Attitude from 94 with serial nr: 20t0694313 that means it is a medium 20" made in June 94 number 313 that month. earlyer models have other numbers that are much simpler such as: AD03c which indicates its just an Adroit or ATT00168 which indicates its an Attitude. these early numbers are mostly from 1990 to 93. for those of you who are interested you can go to oldklein.com and see much of these oldschool beauties. look for the collection from Norway and you will see a lot of the bikes i have now or have previously owned before:-) For further Q's you can send me a mail at Andre.hefferli@bluezone.no hope this helps a little Thanks André
on the handle
You have to get the serial number off the bike it self. It should be on the neck of the bike.
Do a net search on "manufacturer's name" and "serial number". With luck you might find a website describing how to interpret the serial number.
on the front forks.
