There is no schrader valve on an 87 Dakota as it is carburated, other wise if its multiport fuel injection, on a 91 or newer model, it will be located at the end of the fuel rail under the valve stem cap.

Follow the little hose from the front valve cover to the intake manifold. The part it hooks to on the intake is the pcv valve.
On the v6 its on the front valve to the far left side. You will see a rubber hose which goes into a 90 degree bend into the valve cover, slide that out.. Voila
