The first thing I have to say is...if you don't know where the starter motor is after looking for it, I suggest you don't work on this car. OK...now that you're pissed off at me....pop the hood. On the right side of the car, look at the end of the cylinder head...now, look straight down. If you bend down enough, you can get a peek at it. Its down there. You have to be under the car to access this unit. If you're replacing the starter/solenoid because you're not able to start your car...you might also want to check out the ignition switch. Its a two part switch that can be the cause as well. Is the key very loose when inserted into the slot? Does the radio or other Accessory devices turn on by themselves? Have you checked the big thick battery cable and other electrical connections. Make sure there are clean and secure connections
