It located as you are looking at the engine to the left of the tbi on a mounting bracket on top of the bracket it has a four wire connector connecting to the module
I would suspect that if it is getting fuel and not starting it would be that it is not getting any spark. If you find that it is not getting spark you could check: Ignition module Crank position sensor Engine control module Associated wiring and connectors
I would replace the ignition module that's under the distributor cap.
Quit running after its fully up to temp? Restarts after it cools down? Check the spark when it does it, could be the ignition control module.
To the best of my knowledge, it is located behind either the passenger side dashpad or behind the "information center" in the middle of the dash
Timing on a 1987 Celebrity is controlled by the engine control module, computer. There is no provision for adjustment.

The ignition module should be attached to the distributor with two small machine screws.
ITS the PICK-up COIL !!!!!!! to be safe just change the distibutor
RH under hood, between blower and evaporator according to diagram. The blower control module is most likely the culprit. It was on my 87 covette ,easy to replace but cost about $150.00
code 43 is electronic spark control open circuit.
