The coolant temperature sensor on a 2005 Dodge Neon is located on the cylinder head. It is close to the camshaft position sensor.
The temp sensor is part of the overdrive solenoid inside the transmission, on the valvebody.
4 cylinder it is on the end of the head. 6 cylinder it is in the distributor.
The cam sensor is on the driver side of the cylinder head.
The crankshaft position sensor on a Dodge 5.9L V8 is located behind the passenger side cylinder head, and it aims at the flywheel through a hole in the bell housing.
2006 was the last Neon. The cam sensor was located on the driver side end of the cylinder head.
4 cylinder it is on the end of the head opposite the timing belt. 6 cylinder it is part of the distributor.
The cam sensor is the "pick up plate" in the distributor, under the rotor.
Bank 1 refers to the side of the engine where the number 1 cylinder is located and sensor 2 is the down stream or after the catalytic converter sensor.
It goes into the top of the bell housing behind the passenger side cylinder head.
On the driver side end of the cylinder head.
drivers side just in front of transfer case the sensor is yellow the only one in that area.
