The starter motor is located beneath the battery and is difficult to remove. You must first remove the fan shroud and the fan. Then remove the plastic fresh air intake hose, the throttle body air intake hose and the rubber lower Idle air control valve hose, and, finally, the battery. The starter is beneath and is held by two bolts.
