well i dont know exactly where the starter is but you should be able to see it under the car around where the tranny bellhousing meets the engine at the fly wheel(auto) or flex plate(manual) either on the left or right side. if the car is not turning over at all then you can put a jumper from the battery to the starter solenoid and that should kick the starter on if it doesnt then you starter/solenoid is bad. but if you car turns over but doesnt start then your starter is fine.
it is possibly the starter. mine had the same problem
The Starter relay for Acclaims are located right on the starter, its what the wires that go to the starter hooks to.
My 2003 KIA Optima car will not start and my battery is drained after charging it... When I tried to start it again I here no clicks or noise....Need to know where is the starter located on the car...
If the Chrysler Sebring won't start after going through a puddle, the problem is probably that the starter relay switch got wet. This is not a common thing but if the starter relay was bad to begin with, moisture will make the problem worse. The starter relay is located on the starter.
1. bad starter selenoid 2. blown fuse in the circuit 3. bad ground at the starter (not likely, but possible) Start at the starter, with a test light, and work your way back through the curcuit until you find power. That's where the problem will be. If the starter has no power move to the selenoid. If the selenoid had no power in the switch circuit move to the fuse. If the selenoid has no power on the battery side move to the fusable link. Keep working your way to the ignition switch.
Check the 92 Camaro neutral safety switch next. If the switch is faulty then the starter will not get power to start the engine.

Oh the games people play. You got a battery and a starter in it?
Check the battery. If it is a manual hold the clutch push it and let off also check the starter
the battery or the starter could be bad. the vats system could be activated. let me know.
try the opti these are prone to failure
On the back of the engine, mounted between the engine and transmission, inside the bell housing. You cannot see the flywheel. The starter is connected to the flywheel when you start the engine. On the back of the engine, mounted between the engine and transmission, inside the bell housing. You cannot see the flywheel.
