where is the starter located on a hyundai sonata
The starter of a 2004 Hyundai Sonata is bolted to the transmission bell housing. You will see the starter on the off to the side of the engine.

under the engine follow the positive cable off of the battery terminal
the senor is located on the front of the engine block right above the starter you need to drop the starter and oil filter to remove the sensor
Location is behind the starter,droping the starter makes the job easy.unplug the sensor then pry it out,best with pliers o ring then reinstall.

The fuel pump is inside the fuel tank on a Hyundai Sonata.
On the 4 cylinder, it is located on the passenger side of the car on the firewall side of the engine. There is two bolts (I believe they take a 14mm socket). The bolts go through the bell housing and into the starter. You can take the two bolts out, then move the starter toward the driver side of the car to pull it out of the bell housing. Then you should be able to move the starter out from behind the engine at little bit in order to disconnect the wiring.
