On the 4 cylinder, it is located on the passenger side of the car on the firewall side of the engine. There is two bolts (I believe they take a 14mm socket). The bolts go through the bell housing and into the starter. You can take the two bolts out, then move the starter toward the driver side of the car to pull it out of the bell housing. Then you should be able to move the starter out from behind the engine at little bit in order to disconnect the wiring.
