if it has the 3.0 ohv (over head valve) motor you can tell by the vin j or the black valve covers say ohv the starter is in the front of the motor underneath the vehicle front meaning towards the radiator
if it has the dohc motor (dual over head cam) you can tell this by there being no room in the engine compartment it is on top you do not need to get under the vehicle for this one it is to the left of the battery and down you need to remove the black box to the left of the battery in the front of the engine compartment it is held in by two visible clips in the front both starters are fairly east to do just make shure you disconnect the battery before trying to change them you will need a 15 mm socket a 13mm socket and a 8 mm socket to replace the starter on both of these http://www.hometeammotorsports.org/
