I put a 1990 transmission in my 89 Lincoln town car but the gear was different on went back for park and the other went forward. So we changed the gears inside the transmission but now it slips and will not get passing gear when stomped. Is the transmission bad?
You have to go purchase an aftermarket wiring harness. that will plug into the factory harness then you can wire it to the aftermarket radio.
I assume you're talking about the keyless entry code. I found mine on a sticker on the passenger side trunk hinge.
You'll have to get under there and look for the leak. It could be either one.
Not too sure about the 87's but on my 89 it's in front of the right-rear wheel well. It should be right on the inside of the body under the car.
Try 87 Octane if vehicle does not "ping" excessively you should be OK if vehicle does "ping" try 89 Octane
