Very strange question...why not just lift the hood and look? Its at the end of the battery cable.
No offense but if you have to ask such a question you really should not be involved with that vehicle at all.
The starter on a kw with an N-14 Cummins is on the drivers side between the frame and the engine. it is at the very back and bolts to the transmission bellhousing. if you are flexible enough you might be able to see it from the top, but it's easier from the bottom. after you find it if you are extremely lucky you might be able to follow one of the battery cables from it back to the battery box. i kind of doubt it though, since as everybody who knows anything about them knows. it's tough to follow one wire when it is twisted into a bundle with ten more that look the same.
