Dodge did not make a 1996 Dynasty. The last Dynasty was built in 1993.
Dodge doesn't use an inertia switch. It controls the fuel pump via a pcm actuated relay.
there are 5 wires that go to the starter relay on a 1993 mercury topaz
The starter relay is the part of the vehicle that sends an electrical current to the motor in order for the engine to start. In a 1993 Toyota Corolla, you will find the starter relay in the engine compartment.
on top of the starter
The starter relay is located next to the handle to open your hood..There is a fuze box and to the left of that is the relay for the starter and many other functions.
I replaced the battery in my 1993 sundance noe the starter will not ingage
Yes, the power goes through the relay before the starter gets it so if the relay is bad, there is no power to the starter.
I believe yours has a starter mounted solenoid and not a relay.
on the starter its self>>>>JAC
It's the bump on the side of the starter.
Underneith the Dash.
If it is a automatic transmission there is no starter relay but, an ignition relay instead. If it is manual the starter relay is located under the hood at the fuse box on the left (drivers) side.
Follow the + battery cable should connect at relay
Under the hood on firewall between brake booster and computer.
Lower driver side of engine.
change wiper switch
Spring into the engine.
The Dodge Dynasty was produced from the years 1988 to 1993. The wiring harness from the fuel pump to the battery in a 1989 Dodge Dynasty is located very close to the battery terminals.
On a 1993 Dynasty, it's on the engine compartment right front fender well.
Beside battery along inner fender.
