I tried trouble shooting my 1993 dodge dynasty when the fuel pump went intermittent. We looked for the accident fuel shut off relay everywhere thinking it was an active thing rather than a passive relay near the air filter.
As I remember it, the computer (in mine) shuts of the relay or rather doesn't turn it on and let it run--no power to the relay. I had a schematic of the Internet that showed two relays were involved--
That's all I can remember now--it's been months and "experts" gave me all sort of stupid and wrong information--trying to trouble shoot the pump in the tank--sensor wires and what not they were easy to see under the car.
They had cross-over pumps on some Internet site for about $50

If it's like my 96 neon there are two small holes just to the right of the clock with H (hours) and M (minutes) next to them. Use a pen tip and push the button in the hole and the clock will set. Hope this helps. DJ

I've been using castrol syntec 5w-20 in my vw golf tdi, it's thin as water but i get 10k miles between oil changes, I've used it since it came out and before that castrol gtx!
I've never had an oil related problem with any of my vehicles. i had an 83 Chevy blazer, i never changed the oil in 10 years and it was still clean, i only drove several hundred miles a year, as it quit snowing here in south central Pa. I saved a ton of money on oil and filter changes! i usually change the oil every 5k miles on my gas vehicles, most are easy to change, just buy a drain pan and a filter wrench and oil plug wrench, the money you save from going to jiffy lube will pay for the synthetic oil and you know you are actually getting the oil you pay for! the thin oil disipates the excess heat better and you have less pumping friction and better gas mileage. :)

Yes but once you do there is no turning back and no mixing regular motor oil ever again with the synthetic oil....only straight synthetic....or use semi synthetic....now that can be mixed with regular motor oil in a pinch.

Theres alot of things that could be the problem.. first ...check the plugs and wires making sure they are at proper gap 0.35...and making sure the wires are pushed all the way down into the cap ,next replace the fuel filter because they don"t last forever ,if the problem is still there.. check the coil.. sometimes they could lose fluid giving them a weird spark, timing could be a problem as well or another weird twist the alternator
could have died to check that just disconnect the pos battery terminal while the engine is running if the car shuts off theres your answer
hope this helps

It threads into the exhaust manifold on the back of the engine.

at the very top of underneath the dashboard above the fuse panel in the glove box if it's the same as a '91. drove me crazy. had to remove the glove box compartment to get my arm up in there to remove it. .
AnswerOn the pass. side beside the glove box (when open) there is the fuse box. above or beside the fuse box is the relays for the turn & hazard signals. You may have to remove the glove compartment all the way over to the ash tray that whole assembly comes out look up where the glove compartment used to be. You will see the relays. Use your owners manual it will point you to the flasher relay.
If your turn signal is not flashing, replacing the flasher or relay might not fix it. Especially if one side flashes and the other doesn't, there is probably a short or corroded wire somewhere in the circuit. Refer to a wiring diagram to test with a test light. Good Luck.

If only one turn signal is the problem and it is flashing really fast, it's a bulb. If neither works and the fuse is okay, if the 1990 is like my 1991 you can't see the relays. Once you've removed the dash from glove box to ashtray, look above the fuse block and follow the red wires. Reach above the wires and then feel downwards toward the back of the car. The relays are installed by being pushed down and are not visible. Again, if like my 1991, the owner's manual says you can push the relay block up and out and drop it down for easier access. Hope this saves the hours of frustration I spent thinking the relays were installed front to back or upwards and were visible.

Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches. The fuel system is computer controlled with relays.

on the back of the engine bolted to the transmission... disconnect battery or else you might get some good shocks going. it can be a knuckle buster but is pretty easy to do.

It is the two wire sensor screwed in next to the thermostat housing.

Okay, I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I have had the same problem. As far as the auto door locks go, check your fuses. The auto door locks are on the same fuse as the lighter and horn. I went to use my lighter one day, and it blew the fuse. My door locks, horn, and lighter would not work. I didn't know this until after I replaced the fuse several times (and finally hearing a popping sound when I went to use the lighter).
As far as the daytime running lights go, I really have no advice. There are a few others who have asked the same question here... Just browse through the questions and you should find the answer.
The speedometer may be a bit tricky. Either the gage itself is bad, or you may have problems behind the dash... Again, others have asked a similar question, so just browse through the questions and you should find an answer.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

I HAD TO REPLACE MY SERPENTINE BELT BUT ENDED UP HAVING A MECHANIC DO IT FOR ME AND AT THE SAME TIME HE SAID THAT IT TOOK A SPECIAL TOOL TO REMOVE THE TENSION PULLY. THE TENSION SPRING ON THE PULLY HAD FROZEN.
Ive replaced both the tensioner pulley and tensioner assembly on my 90 Dynasty 3.3 there are no special tools required its a 15mm both for both the pulley and assembly, tho there is a bit of patience required as neither is very easy to get to but its not terribly diffcult

Use the dipstick. If the oil line is over the line that says something like MAX. you have too much. In any case, it will usually blow a lot of the excess out of the crankcase breather and oil will be all over that side of the engine and engine compartment.

sounds like the fuel pressure regulator, the one on my Buick was bad & the gas was leaking from it
could be an injector o-ring on the fuel rail, just had this problem with 2 injectors on my 90 3.3L Dynasty LE simple fix actually if your even a little mechanically inclined, its 2, 13mm bolts to lift up the fuel rail and a 3dollar o-ring kit to replace them
Could also be that the rail will need replaced.

See the answer to the flasher question below. I believe it's a circuit breaker and on the same block as the flasher.

You mean the trunk light... its located under the dash in a panel that you pop off, in a fuse box... the fuse that goes to the trunk light is also the one being used by the dome light and such.

i had the same problem, i fixed mine by changing all the spark plugs to the top of the line ones, i replaced the air filter and even used a shop vac to clean the box. other than that i got a tuneup at wally world or crappy tire works too.

It is located just above the oil filter (located in front of engine under exhaust manifold)
