The starter solenoid is an integral part of the starter motor. The starter is mounted on the engine and is accessible from under the vehicle.
CAUTION: The starter input battery lead is energized at all times. Before working on the starter, be sure to disconnect the battery ground cable. Also be sure to reinstall the insulating covers on the terminals.
