They are in the exhaust flow
First make sure it's actually a 88 and not a 87. On a 87 it has two sensors on the bellhousing, the one on the engine is diagnotic only. On a 88 it has a sensor either above the A/C compressor or the alternator.
Likely a bad ground in the relay
1997olds 88 the brake chime will not shut off where is the sensor so i can disengage it
It doesn't have a distributor. It has a Distributorless Ignition System AKA DIS.
in the intake where the dist. should be on the front of the engine
the camshsft sensor is located under the water pump.you can`t see it,you have to feel for it
The Crankshaft sensor is located behind the Harmonic Balancer on the front-passenger side
At the end of your air cleaner tube is a square box with 4 screws and a plug in. This is your mapp sensor
