Follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator. It will attach to a cast iron tube that is mounted to the engine. The Thermostat is located at the base of the tube that goes into the engine. You will need to remoe the air sensing unit to be able to detach the cast irom tube and remove the thermostat. there are two bolts that attach the cast iron tube to the engine (I think they are 10mm). The front one is easy to get at (use a speed socket wrench. The back one is more difficult. You will need a long handle closed wrench. Once you detach the tube, you will find the Thermostat sitting inside. From Tiger

Drain the radiator. Remove the top radiator hose on the 2003 Buick Century. Unbolt the hose inlet. Remove the inlet housing and take out the thermostat. Replace the thermostat, install the housing and top hose, and refill with antifreeze.
