The 1994 Dodge Intrepid O2 sensor is located on the outside of the air cleaner housing. The sensor is on the back side of the housing.
Thermostat is located at front of motor between ac compressor and alternator.
The transmission in an Intrepid does not have any bands in it.

To replace the thermostat on a 1994 Dodge Intrepid, first ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery cable. Drain the coolant from the radiator, then remove the upper radiator hose connected to the thermostat housing. Unbolt the thermostat housing, take out the old thermostat, and clean the mating surfaces before installing the new thermostat with the spring side facing down. Reassemble the housing, reconnect the hose, refill the coolant, and check for leaks.
On the lower right of the rad. Sometimes it is easier to remove the lower rad hose.
