Facing the engine compartment follow the upper radiator hose that comes out of the top of the radiator on your right side. You'll follow this down slightly to the water outlet. Under this, attached to the head is the thermostat. When buying this you'll need a gasket as well so don't forget while you're at the parts store. This is a fairly simple procedure. Most of the fastenrs are 8MM I believe. There are a few things that can be taken off to assist in easier access to the thermostat. Good Luck !!
