try following the upper radiater hose to the engine. at the engine you'll find a housing w/ the thermostat inside. make sure the spring goes towards the engine when replacing. should just be two bolts holding it on. be sure to clean the seat of all old gasket mat'l.

The sensor that controls the cooling fan is located on the housing of the thermostat. The thermostat is located on the right Sid of the engine if you are stanging in front of the car. Follow the hose coming out of the radiator and that will lead you to the thermostat. I have noticed that if I just remove the wire that is sticking out of it, that the fan will be on at all times so there is no threat of over-heating.
