my wife has a 2006 e90, and today i was looking for the toolkit (as sparse as it is, there should at least be a towhook) and i cant find it!
granted, her trunk is so full of junk it might be somewhere obvious, but i looked at the trunk lid (where my 5 series has one) and nothing there.
also looked at the compartment in the center of the trunk, and there is just a plastic tub for storage.
where should i be looking? i know she has run flats, so i dont expect anything other than the tow hook and maybe a screwdriver (we are in the USA), but i cant even find that.
thanks

Yes, both have the M54
For your 2006 BMW 330I: Wheel Stud Torque 72-87 Foot pounds (Final torque)
In the glove box
The M54B30 engine fitted to the 2000 BMW E46 330i has 6 cylinders, arranged in a straight inline configuration.
The BMW 330i was introduced to the market in March 2005. Also called the E90 series. BMW car models are named very confusingly, you would think the the 330i would be in an E30 series or the E80 series would have been released in the 90's but that is not the case.
take it to autozone
It is in the fuel tank.
