Usually stored near the jack, often the jack lever.

The spare tire is in the rear, under the vehicle. You must use the tool provided to lower the tire. The tool enters through the rear bumper behind the square 2 inch by 2 inch plastic cover.
Open the rear doors, you will see two bolt heads on the bottom near the scuff plate. You turn them counterclockwise with the tire tool to lower the tire.
There is a tool that can be put together under the passenger rear seat. Looking at the back of the vehicle, directly in the center, just above the bumper, there is a small hole that you can insert the tool into to lower the spare tire.
If you want to remove the tire you will need a tire tool.
The spare tire on a 2008 Town and Country is located under the center of the van. There is an access between the front seats to insert the tire tool to lower the winch assembly. You can then reach under the van and pull the tire out.
Removing a spare tire is easy to do from a Chevy Suburban. The tire is removed with the tool that is located on with your jack.
