on the side of the throttle body
How do i fix the TPS pedal position sensor in a grand prix pontiac 2004.
TPS sensor or maf. I seafoamed my entire car seemed to do the trick
camshaft sensor - signal low could be that or check the wiring to it. Other possibilities MAF or TPS
It is not adjustable.
On a 1993 Pontiac Grand Am, the throttle position sensor (TPS) is typically grounded through the engine control module (ECM). The sensor's ground connection is facilitated via the wiring harness that connects it to the ECM. For specific wiring diagrams or locations, it's best to refer to the vehicle's service manual or a repair guide.
On my 1997 Silverado the TPS is right in the accelerator pedal. Look close at your pedal for the wire and plug in module.
AnswerPERHAPS THROTTLE BODY IS STUCK OPEN- TRY TO FREE WITH SCREWDRIVER (WITH ENGINE OFF)Also could be either a bad TPS (throttle position switch) or bad ICS (Idle control solinoid) more likely to be TPS
