In the 2.4 or 3.5 automatics or with the manualtransmission, there is no need to check the transaxle fuild level. You only need to mess with it when it's time to get it changed, or if you have a leak. If you have the 3.6 or 3.9 auto, the dipstick handle has an symbol on it that looks like a knotched circle with little waves on it. Be sure to follow the proper instructions to get an accurate reading.
