How do you change the ignition control module in a 1988 Chevy Silverado 5.7L
A 1999 Ram does not have a transfer case control module.
The most common and cheapest fix has been in the pushbutton control on the dash. However it can go farther into a shift motor and/or a transfer case control module.
A 1995 Dodge Ram does not have a transfer case control module. The transfer case is mechanically controlled.
A 1994 does not have a control module on the transfer case. But it does have a 4x4 Actuator on the front differential.
2004 silverado, avalanche likly the same. I found mine cliped to a box behind the OBDII plug. cut tie wrap and pull it out. Thanks JJ
It is mounted in the dash right beside the head light switch. You will have to pop the plastic cover off of the front of the dash to get to it.

That year did not have a controll module.
Hi: it is atached to the control knobs, in other words the module is right behind the knobs.
