Have you ever seen those long funnels by the funnels used for oil? Well those long ones are used to add Transmission Fluid. You take the Dip Stick out where you check your Tranny Fluid and place the long funnel into the spot you took the dip stick out and add your tranny fluid there. Usually the lines are half a pint per line or whole pint if the dip stick is dry. You may want to ask the Auto Supply store how much to add according to the type of car you have.
On the top of the transmission there is a red cap. that cap comes off and you add fluid through there.
You add fluid through the dipstick tube. There is no cap like the oil.
There is no transmission fluid cap as such. The dipstick is the closest thing there is to a cap. If you need to add fluid simply pour the correct fluid down the dipstick tube.
transmission fluid is uaually added through the trans dipstick tube.
There is no filler cap for a transmission. to add fluid you must pour it down the dipstick tube. only check the level of the fluid with the engine idling at normal running temperature.
trasnsmission stickon the drivers side under hood, there is a red cap under exhaust pipe ontop of transmission, this is where you add fluid.
to add transmission fluid its usually on top of the transmission. theres a cap to it and it can be lossened. to check the fluid theres a bolt sitting on top of the transmission toward the front of the car
You add fluid the same place you check the fluid level. If you have a newer GMC the transmission may be a sealed unit with no place the check the level or add fluid.
There is usually no transmission cap. The tube that the tranny dip stick is in is where you add fluid if it is an automatic. You usually need a funnel that has a longer neck on it. If it isa standard then there is a check bolt that you remove and add fluid that way. Good luck.
Under the hood you will find a cap that says TRANSMISSION, or something to that effect. The cap is attached to the top end of the transmission dip stick. Pull out the dipstick and add transmission fluid through the dip stick spout. Add the fluid slowly and check the level often, you don't want to overfill. When the level is somewhere between the add and full marks on the dip stick, you have a good level.
To add fluid to the transmission. Pull the dipstick that checks the Transmission fluid and add it through there. The Tranny Dipstick tube is the fill tube. You will need a tranny fluid funnel with a thin end to insert into the tube
Im not familiar with your car, but on some you add the transmission fluid directly into the stem that holds your transmission fluid dipstick
