Unless the japs have come up with something new, there is no dip stick on a manual transmission...only an automatic.
There is a filler bolt on the side of the trans. and a drain bolt on the bottom. remove the filler bolt and stick your finger inside to check the oil. if changing drain and fill until the oil is overflowing out of the filler bolt
