the auto box in my passat is a tiptronic box and as such it does not have a dip stick if the same box is in your Jetta then take it to a transmission specialist who knows how to check the oil for you as it needs to be conected to a scanner to determin the fluiod level

GO OUT AND BUY A 95 2.0 MANUAL JETTA. GOING FROM MANUAL TO AUTO IS CHEAP...GOING FROM AUTO TO MANUAL IS EXPENSIVE$$$$$$
does a VW golf auto transmission interchange with ajetta?
Look at the gear stick, if its auto then you have an auto transmission, if its manual you have a manual transmission.
A 2001 VW Jetta engine diagram can be found in the maintenance manual of the car. It can also be obtained as a print out from an auto part shop.
Yes.
You would need to swap the auto transmission to a stickshift transmission of the same type of vehicle. eg. take the ae 86 corrola and its auto, and swap for the ae 86 manual (stick)
where is transmission dip stick on chevelle 1970, 454, auto trans.?
Auto transmission fluid.
THERE IS NO DIP STICK, THE TRANSMISSION IS A SEALED UNIT.
Yes, a transmission from a 98 Sebring will work in a 97 Sebring. This is because they are both a 2.5 liter engine and both are auto sticks.
The car has a sealed transmission u will have to go to a mechanic to have it checked ..
