it's just on the passanger side of the engine towards the firewall. .. they usually have a red or black dipstick handle. or you can follow the dipstick up from the transmission. it's about a 1/2 - 3/4" tube.
YES.
you pour it down the transmission dipstick tube.....use a funnel.and only check the transmission fluid level when the fluid is hot....(use a thick towel)..... and add as much as needed to get the level to the hot mark on dipstick...... ,Neal
How do you adjust a transmission passing gear cable on a 95 chevy tahoe /
NO won't work. The wiring harness for the transmission on the 90 model will not hook up to the 97 4L60E transmission. And the ECM / computor on the 90 model will no operate the 97 electronic transmission. You can NOT use anything newer then a 1991
On my 90 Sovereign I pop the hood, lean in on driver's side, and it's the (red) dipstick next to the transmission dipstick (yellow) Other years may differ, but it was the same on my 89 Vanden Plas
I can't say I know the Tercel specifically (ask the dealer), but most (like probably 90%) of all manual transmission cars do not have a transmission dipstick. Direct gear connection limits fluid loss from excess heat and friction, so dipsticks are generally unneeded.
it will physicly fit but the 99 is a different design and is electronicly shifted and the 90 is not
Yes it should. cavalier/corsica 90-95; most parts will be interchangeable.
Use 90 weight gear oil for your crankcase.
Yes, you can use the same transmission dipstick from a 1993 Acura Legend for a 1990 Acura Legend, as the two models share similar transmission designs and components. However, it’s always a good idea to verify part compatibility by checking the part numbers or consulting a mechanic to ensure proper fit and function.
Yes the transaxle should bolt up.
Most standard transmissions use 90 weight oil available at most parts stores.
