I can't say I know the Tercel specifically (ask the dealer), but most (like probably 90%) of all manual transmission cars do not have a transmission dipstick. Direct gear connection limits fluid loss from excess heat and friction, so dipsticks are generally unneeded.
there is no dipstick! it is a sealed unit and has to be put on a lift to have it checked!
Manual has no dipstick. Auto is near the firewall.
If it is a Manual transmission you do not have a dipsticks.

On a 1995 Acura Integra, the transmission dipstick opening is located near the back of the engine bay, on the driver’s side. It is typically found near the firewall, attached to the transmission itself. Look for a yellow or red handle to identify the dipstick. Be sure to check the vehicle’s manual for specific details and guidance.
