if it's a manual transmission, there IS no dipstick. you'll have to check it via the checkplug on the driver's side of the transmission. if it's an automatic, it should be on the passenger side with a red handle. if you have a manual, go underneath the car on the driver's side, look for a 3/8ths inch plug above the drainplug. simply pull it off, and check the level with your pinky finger. depth should be about 1/8th of an inch below the plug hole.

If it is an A/T it is located rear of engine near firewall. If it is manual, there is no dipstick. The level is checked under the car on the upper side of the transmission where you will find a plug.

The manual transmission don't have a dip stick. It has a plug in the side of it that you remove and check the fluid level.
