where is the fill tube for the transmission on a 2001 jeep grand cherokee
remove the derby ( round ) cover from the primary. fill til it tries to run out. replace derby cover.
You remove the fill bolt on the transmission and fill it there. It is easily accessable with a floor jack or ramps.
how do i fill up the transmission fluid
sportsters do not have a separate transmission, it is actually integrated into the cases and does not have its own oil supply. the oil you put in the primary also works as the transmission lubricant by flowing back and forth from primary to tranny.
You have to fill it up where the transmission dipstick is. It requires a small funnel. There is no other place to fill the transmission fluid up. The dipstick is to the left side of the motor and down low.
