Of course you can buy one because it does exist, but you might as well take it back and forget changing it. It is inside the transmission and the transmission must be removed and broken in half to access the filter. It is indeed a non-serviceable item.
probably more than the car was bought for, unless u get the parts and do it yourself.
Call the dealer where you bought it from and then save it in a safe place.
If there is no warranty, you are. If you bought it with a warranty does it say it covers the transmission or complete drivetrain? Have you checked the transmission fluid level?
i just bought a cluster for a 1966 honda accord but now the speed is ten miles off is there a way to adjust it
I bought a new part for my 1995 Honda accord EX four trunk door but it still won't latch. Can you help?
The lowest price found for a 1994 Honda Accord is $1995 on offer, but the majority prices ranged from $2495 with the highest price at $3995. So on average the price for a Honda Accord is between $3250. Many can be bought for $3495.
Yes, I actually bought a 93 accord trans for my 96 prelude. The 91-93 accords have the same engine and trans as the 92-96 preludes.
NO! I just bought one and they are fast, fun to drive, and all around a great car!
The 2002 Honda accord headlight changing diagram can be obtained from most Honda dealerships. The diagram can also be obtained from the auto-parts store where you bought the new headlight.
If you bought it "as is" and with no warranty you are out of luck. You will be buying a new transmission.
Buy a new one. Remove the old one and replace it with the new one you bought. Pretty simple.
First I'll confirm that you are right to look for the electrinic speed sensor. My 90 Accord EX 5 speed had the same problem. The sensor is located on the top of the transmission on the pass side of the engine bay. It is almost directly below the thermostat. You will need to remove the large black plastic air tube from the intake so you can get to the sensor. I bought an aftermarket model on eBay for about $30 instead of paying the $100+ from the Honda dealer, it works fine. Good luck.
