you put it in your tranny fluid check tube you will need a funnel with the end small enough to fit in it
drivers side port, fill to level of opening.
There is a "fill port" on the side of the transmission. But make sure you know what you're doing so you don't remove the wrong bolt. Change the fluid by removing the pan, then when you've replaced the gasket and pan, fill the transmission through the fill port. The claim is that the transmission is "sealed" and if it's functioning properly it shouldn't need checking, so there is no dipstick.
You fill a tranny through the dipstick tube. You will need to buy a small funnel.
For a manual transmission there is a fill port on the side. The plug has a hole that will fit a 1/2 inch driver from a ratchet or breaker bar.
in the trans Fill/Level check tube in an automatic. in a 5 speed there is probably a port to fill into the actual trans case
if it is a stick shift you probably wont find it and you better take it to a mechanic if you think it is low
On the transmission, right side just above the drain plug. Fill it until it's just below the filler port
The transmission in a 2016 Ram 1500 does not have a dipstick. The fluid is checked using a set of steps through a fill port on the side of the transmission. The dipstick on a 2500-5500 is under the hood.
Auto transaxle fluid in installed through the dipstick tube. Manual transaxle fluid is installed through fill port at left side of unit at lower right side of transaxle.
As with nearly all automatic transmission the fluid goes in through the dipstick tube.
Saturn transmissions are considered to be "zero maintenance", and as such are sealed. There is no dipstick nor is there any user serviceable fill ports. At least, not easily serviceable. You CAN remove the pan to drain the fluid and change the filter. You can also open the port on the side of the transmission and add fluid to the full mark. You'll need to identify where the port is by referencing a service manual.
If a vacuum modulator has fluid in the vacuum port, it has failed and should be replaced.
