The THM200C does not use a vacum line. It has a cable that tells it when to shift.
Should have either a THM 700-R4 or a THM 200-4R. Check your service parts ID codes (should be on your trunk lid).
Most likely it is a THM 700R4/ 4L60.
Transmission: THM 440-T4 automatic four-speed (includes overdrive and viscous converter clutch)
THM 250/350 accoringing to bolt pattern and Haynes manual
The TH700R4 regard a family of General Motors Hydramatic automatic transmissions. There should be a total of three check balls in a relatively diagonal line across the valve body.
Check the fluid level for transmission fluid. Check it at operating temp in PARK to get an accurate reading.
Yes, so a torque converter simply fit thm 350 trans.

Yes you can. The overall length of the transmission may be slightly different so you will need to check drive shaft lengths and re-drill the cross member holes. Is it a 4x4? That will cause you to make sure the spline length is the same. You will also have to add the electronic controls for the transmission since the 400 used a vacuum modulator and the 700 uses electronics. You will end up with a lower first gear than the 400 and overdrive with lockup converter so it is a pretty nice addition if you do it right. Good luck.
If your transmission is automatic it will have a 3T40 or THM-125C they are both the same transmissions just different names. Completely flushed the transmission will hold 10 quarts, if you just drop the pan and change the filter it is 4 quarts.
