The police package code for a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice is typically identified as the "9C1" option code. This package was designed for police and law enforcement use, featuring enhancements such as a heavier-duty suspension, upgraded brakes, and additional electrical wiring for equipment. The 9C1 package made the Caprice a popular choice for police departments during that era.
Police Package (9c1) had 5.7
The 1977 Chevy Caprice with a 350 had 170 h.p. and I think you will find that the police package car had the same h.p, but I am not 100% sure. The police package included handling and cooling upgrades but I think that it still only had 170 h.p.
