(Luke 6:38) . . .Practice giving, and people will give to YOU. They will pour into YOUR laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together and overflowing. For with the measure that YOU are measuring out, they will measure out to YOU in return.. . .
Isaiah 6:8
In the book of Exodous chapter 20 verse 15 says Though shall not steal.
Leviticus 19:32"You shall rise up before the grayheaded and honor the aged, and you shall revere your God; I am the Lord."
That verse is not in the Psalms but in the Beatitudes. See Matthew 5:8, "Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
Exodus 20 should give you everything you need. You should not murder is one of the Ten Commandments. All of the Ten Commandments are brought together though in one that Jesus says, "You shall love..."
Deuteronomy 22:5 from the Bible states, "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God." This verse is often interpreted as a prohibition against cross-dressing.
John 14.12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do ; because I go unto my Father
No. Not in Billie Holliday's language. But Luke 8:18 says, " . . . for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have."
There is no Bible verse that I know of that says this. Although, if you believe, there is great rejoicing in waiting for the coming kingdom of Christ on earth which will indeed be greater, as the Bible says: The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts (Haggai 2.9)
I can't find any verse that says that.
2 Thessalonians 3:6-13. Verse 10 says For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: "The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat."
Since you asked this as a personal question I will give you my personal answer. This answer does not fit into everyones lifestyle. No I shall not. In the bible, Psalm 49 verse 10 it says, "Those who are wise must finally die, just like the foolish and senseless, leaving all their wealth behind." You can't take it with you when you go so use it for good while you are here.
