Actually cars of this era had no VIN number as we know it today. They however did have a manufactures data plate. It can be located almost anywhere on the vehicle. Look in the glove box, look under the hood on the firewall, the door post, even in the trunk.
On the Engine if it is the original engine.

I cannot decode this as it matches no Ford VIN codes I know of.
