It is connected to the fan and fan clutch. should only be 5 bolts a swap out with a new seal. when done refil the antifreeze and open the antifreeze bleeder( which is a small bolt on top of the part ) start and let air bubbles out close and your done.

∙ 12y agothe water pump is behind the fan blade , when your looking at the fan ,you will see a belt pully behind it , both are connected to the water pump , note, the big nut on the fanblade turns counter clockwise to take it off ! good luck
