If you checked the pressure with the sending unit in the car, it is possible the sending unit itself may be bad!
The1993 Audi 90s series speedometer reads 160 mph. I own this paticular car, and I have it up to 130mph. It has very good breakaway speed for a 6 cylinder. It also weighs over 3000 lbs! So its impressive for 2.8 liter. Its by no means a race car but it has plenty of power for a 4 door sedan
most likely a bad sensor or someone wired it to do that. on a auto its called a park/neutral sensor on a manual its called a neutral sensor. -mechanic 7+ years

This isn't an answer, but more about my question. I have done brakes on domestic cars before, I was just wondering how the job compares on an audi. Thanks for any help in advance.
No. 1994 is considered mid-'90s with 1995 and 1996. The exact middle of the 1990s is January 1, 1995. That implies 1993 is as close to the middle as 1996. (This is why 1993 is also sometimes considered mid-'90s.) And it implies 1994 is as close as 1995 to the middle. If you're dividing the '90s between early and late, and not considering a middle, then you'd place 1994 in the early section. (The early '90s would thus be 1990 to 1994, and the late '90s would be 1995 to 1999.) But this is rarely done.
Yes. VW/Audi/Porsche had common parts in the 70s and 80s. In the 90s and 00s VW/Skoda/Seat/Audi have common parts. Examples: mirrors, switches, engines, transmissions.
