Inside the front of the engine, driven by the timing belt.
behind the timing belt.
The fuel pump in the 1998 Plymouth neon is located inside the gas tank.
It is inside the timing belt cover, on the front of the engine.
The Neon wasn't introduced until the 1995 model year. The water pump on all Neon engines is inside the passenger side of the engine, driven by the timing belt.
Replacing the water pump on the 2000 Neon is a parallel to the explaination of replacing the timing belt which I have posted an answer for. If you have over 100,000 miles on the car, look at replacing the timing belt as well.
No.
how do you remove a power steering pump from a 1995 plymouth voyager?
The only way to access the water pump on a Neon is to disassemble the passenger side of the engine.
It is in the fuel tank.
Plymouth does not use inertia/reset switches.
External, but it is hidden by the timing belt cover. It is driven by the timing belt.
The water pump is timing belt driven. You should buy or borrow a service manual, as this is a very intensive repair.
