The wolfsbane will be in the laboratory. To wilt it you will need to warm it. To do that, follow these steps.

1. Go back into the library and over to where the cannonball was shot. Roll the ball over to the fireplace by walking behind it.

2. Keep it in front of the fireplace until it's red.

3. Then take the fire Poker (the stick) by the fireplace because it's too hot to touch. Roll it over with the fire poker to the dumbwaiter, which is the little square shape in the wall by the door to the armory. Pull the lever.

4. Then go back into the laboratory. Pull on the lever by this dumbwaiter. The hot cannonball will go under the bottle with the wolfsbane in it.

5. Click on the wolfbane. It will be put into your inventory.
