Inside the metal frame of the door on the passenger side clipped to the frame. hey if your window motor works but your window doesn't go up or down, its "Ford window regulator studs", autozone has them for like $5-$10, there is 3 to a pack and easy to install...Hey go to www.lincolnsonline.com and find the TECH link, they have so much there to help on many problems...
Remove the window motor from regulator. This will free the window for movement.
First, check to see if you hear anything when you try the window switch, if nothing and the other window works probably the window switch. Could also be the motor but try the switch first, it's a lot cheaper.
The 1997 Lincoln one touch window relay switch can be found inside of the drivers side door. You will need to remove the door panel in order to access the relay switch.
Passenger side under the rear side of the engine.
Passenger side toward the firewall.
Passenger side behind the wheel well liner.
Passenger side under the dash behind the glove compartment.
its easy just take off the door panel, disconnect the wiring harness and take the screws out of the mount for the window motor and it comes rite out
Follow the short positive battery cable; it will go right to it. I hope this helps you. Mark
Cehck the electrical panel in the engine compartment on the left side
In a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII : In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine compartment ( # 29 is a 40 amp maxi fuse for the Blower Motor Relay )
Look in the back panel of the headliner ahead of the rear window where the manual crank of the sunroof is.
